SEWING CLASS
While the president was doing interviews we had a sewing class. The missionaries learned how to sew on buttons and hem their pants. In every zone there was at least one (sometimes 2 or 3) that had safety pins or tape holding up the hem in their pants. There were even a couple with the hem completely undone and nothing holding it up. So we took advantage and repaired the clothing they had on. We had all levels of experience from trying to tie the thread TO the needle - to missionaries whose parents were tailors/seamstresses who had taught them how to sew. So thanks to those moms who taught their missionaries beforehand - even if it was on the way to the MTC!
